About the Author

Kurtis Luke

Kurtis Luke is the creator and author of The Cardiff Dog Pack. Based in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California, Kurtis was inspired by his real-life Goldendoodle Kodiak to create a children’s adventure universe celebrating rescue dogs, friendship, faith, and courage. What started as a short screenplay about his dog and his community has grown into a book series, an animated YouTube channel, and a mission to support real dog rescue shelters. A portion of all proceeds from The Cardiff Dog Pack goes directly to local dog rescue shelters to help real dogs find loving forever homes. When he is not writing, Kurtis is spending time with Kodiak on the beaches of Cardiff.
